Accumulators will always and forever be popular bets for punters to go for because they seem to offer the chance of longer odds. The more legs you add to your acca, the longer the odds will be because it will be trickier and trickier to win it. For bettors, the appeal is obvious but, other than a small difference in odds, there is little reason to place an accumulator with one company over another. That is why The Pools are offering an Acca Multiboost, which will see your payout increased if it comes home successfully.
What the Offer is All About
Imagine a world in which you’ve placed an accumulator bet and, improbably, every single leg of it has come in. Whilst that would obviously be something very much worth celebrating, you would also no doubt feel as though you were owed a little bit more for making such predictions and being correct. That is where The Pools’ Acca Multiboost offer comes in, giving you a cash boost depending on how many selections your acca has, provided there are at least three and their odds are 1/5 or higher each.
Here is how much you will be paid in bonus funds, depending on the size of your accumulator:
Acca Selections | Cash Boost |
---|---|
3 | 5% |
4 | 7.5% |
5 | 10% |
6 | 15% |
7 | 17.5% |
8 | 20% |
9 | 25% |
10 | 30% |
11 | 35% |
12 | 40% |
13 | 45% |
14 | 50% |
15+ | 60% |
In other words, a successful accumulator bet with 15 or more selections, which will already be likely to have a decent payout because of how many legs you’ve added to it, will then have an additional 60% paid out on top of the winnings.
What About the Small Print?
As you might imagine for such an offer, The Pools have put some small print in place to make sure that you know what to expect as a bettor and they can feel confident that they’re not going to be taken advantage of. We have already mentioned two of the key factors, which are that there are at least three legs making up your accumulator and that each of the selections has odds of 1/5 or greater. That is to say, every single leg within your acca has to have odds of at least 1/5 or their won’t count towards the offer.
If you cash out a wager then it won’t count, nor will any bets that are made void for any reason. Although this is a multi-sports promotion, that doesn’t mean that it applies to every single sport on offer from The Pools. Instead, the following sports will count:
- Football
- Tennis
- Basketball
- American Football
- Boxing
- Cricket
- Darts
- eSports
- Ice Hockey
- Rugby League
- Rugby Union
- Snooker
- Table Tennis
- Mixed Martial Arts
So you could have a 1X2 bet from a football match mixed in with a Total Points bet from a basketball game and a Double Chance wager on an ice hockey game all in the same accumulator and, provided each of them has odds of 1/5 or greater, qualify for the promotion. What you couldn’t do, however, is add in a bet on a golf tournament, say, or pick a horse in a horse racing event and have them included in your bet and hope that they will count towards the promotion.
You also can’t place bets on outrights and hope to see them included in the wager, nor opt for an in-play bet. Single bets won’t count, nor will system bets or accas with fewer than three selections. If you meet the qualifying criteria, however, then you will be opted-in to the promotion automatically and credited with the relevant boost should your accumulator bet be a successful one. You can contact the customer services team if you wish to be opted-out from the offer for whatever reason.
It’s a Cash Bonus
All of the usual general terms of The Pools are in place for the promotion, so it is worth familiarising yourself with them to get a sense of what the offer is all about. One of the most important things that a lot of punters will be keen to know is that this is a cash bonus. That is to say, if you are successful then the winnings that you receive will be paid into your account in cash, as opposed to as a free bet token or other form of bonus that requires you to wager more before you’re able to withdraw your winnings, instead having it available straight away.
If you want to have a sense of how much extra money you’re liable to win, you can look at your bet slip and it should state clearly how much you will get in the way of a return, should all of the legs of your ccca come home. Another aspect of it being a cash bonus is that you will need to place your bet using cash in the first place, so you won’t be able to combine it with any other offer such as free bets that you’ve been awarded for something in the past. Similarly, you can use the likes of an odds boost promotion alongside this one.
